    Purchased in 2005, Brockmead campsite has been developed into a Scout Campsite. It spans 15 acres of camping fields, woodland and has emergency indoor accommodation for 50 people. Water, electricity and toilets are available in each camping field, whilst Greenfield camping is also available.

    Brockmead Campsite will enable youngsters to enjoy more outdoor activities, including archery and rifle shooting. The site also boasts its own 'Camp Fire Circle', Rafting Pond, a full catering kitchen (with stainless steel surfaces) and indoor hall that can hold 50 people.

Scouting

As a scout camp, Brockmead currently offers plenty of land for your scouts to stretch their city legs. We have a total of 4 fields – 3 of which are suitable for camping, woodland – which is also suitable for smaller camps and a building that can house over 50 people. So whether you’re introducing your Beavers to camping or running a number of activities – we can definitely accommodate your group.

An exciting getaway for city youngsters

Brockmead Campsite will enable youngsters to enjoy more outdoor activities, including archery and rifle shooting.

There are stunning views of the 2 Severn Bridges, the Severn itself and the Black Mountains in the distance. The new eco-zoo is visible at the bottom of the amphitheatre and if you are very quiet then you may glimpse some of the local wildlife which includes Bats, Badgers, Buzzards, Deer, Foxes and Owls.

Spaniorum Trust and Brockmead

Spaniorum Trust was set up to administer Brockmead and the Headquarters of the 4th Bristol Scouts in Doncaster Road, Southmead.

The site also boasts its own 'Camp Fire Circle', Rafting Pond, a full catering kitchen (with stainless steel surfaces) and indoor hall that can hold 50 people. Accessed through Spaniorum Farm Stables and a steep track, the site is secluded, safe and has its own car park.
